Generating esoteric conceptual vocabularies and alternative interpretive mental models. I think this represents a fascinating recombinatory creativity. It is not difficult to imagine someone stumbling across new organisational (physical, material) principles entirely by accident and all just by having the artistic bravery to try new things, to see the world in new ways.
